    • The Horizon Reverse Osmosis Fresh Water Flush Option extends the life of the membranes by rinsing them with fresh water by merely a touch of a button. By rinsing the watermaker with fresh water, the Fresh Water Flush removes all salt water, minerals, and other living organisms from the internal parts of the system, flushing the membranes with clean fresh water.
    • When not manually operated, the Fresh Water Flush automatically rinses the RO system out every 7 days, using the on-board water supply. This prevents salt water corrosion of the internal parts and reduces biological fouling of the RO membrane.
