The Standard Horizon CSA280 Desktop Rapid Charger is used as a single-battery for many models. The CSA280 uses microprocessor-controlled circuitry to rapidly charge the battery at an optimum rate. The micro processor senses the fully-charged state, and then switches to a trickle charge mode to maintain the full charge indefinitely.
The rapid charge mode completes a high current charging cycle. This mode takes approximately 1-2 hours if the battery has been fully discharged.
